This hospital has opened at Tomisato city, Chiba Prefecture on September 2015.
Tomisato Tokushukai Hospital has accepted 4,189 ambulance in a year. It says that, since the Secondary Emergency Medical Facilities are short in this area, burdens are centered to Tertiary Emergency Medical facilities so that emergency medical system is not functioning properly. But the result was to realize this situation. In the beginning of the hospital, it was hard to secure two doctors on duty, hence we were forced enormous burdens to the particular full-time doctors. Now we are able to secure minimum 2 doctors (commonly 3 doctors) in charge of emergency treatment even at night or on holidays. Nurses, Pharmacist, Radiation Technologist, Laboratory Technician, and Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) are resided in the hospital and working on 24 hours/365 days emergency medical treatment. We become able to promptly conduct an emergency surgery/emergency catheter treatment. Hereafter, we will further secure human resources to provide the fulfilling medical treatment in order to practice Tokushukai’ s motto “Never decline for medical treatment” at higher level as possible. We aspire to be a part of making Inba Area safe and comfortable living area.
As the Secondary Emergency Medical Facility
Nighttime/Holiday medical examination conducted by doctors at Doctors Medical Association is the essential part of emergency medical treatment and the safety net for local people so that local people rely it the most. And also, there are two major tertiary emergency medical facility, University Hospital which is famous for emergency medical treatment, and Red Cross Hospital. However, there exist the fact of secondary emergency medical facility which takes the majority part of ambulance transport are in shortage. We aspire to be a trustworthy secondary emergency medical treatment facility for area people with making the effort in expanding hospital members.
Health Check & Medical Checkup
Hereafter, it is considered that preventive medicine, detect disease before happens and perform preventive treatment, will take the important role. At Tomisato Tokushukai Hospital, latest model of 320 rows CT Scan has implemented. With using this CT machine, narrowing of coronary arteries, which used to be diagnosed with using cardiac catheter along with invasion, can be found easily. We aim for early detection and early stage treatment of angina and cardiac infarct from Cardiac Checkup using 320 row CT machine. Also, we will put an effort in lung checkup or brain checkup for early detection of cerebrovascular lesion which causes lung cancer or stroke.
Low-invasive Treatment

At my specialty of gastroenterological surgery, endoscopic surgery which has started for removal of the gallbladder, has become common for stomach cancer, bowel cancer and esophageal cancer. It has expanded to cover kidney or pancreas surgery. Interventional Treatment, inserting catheter (tube with 2 to 3 mm diameter) into blood vessel through a small hole opened in the skin, becomes popular. Diseases, which can only be treated by large openings at surgery in the past, can be cured by this low-invasive treatment these days.
